Junior Hockey
Yarra Valley Hockey Club

Hockey Victoria oversees junior hockey in Victoria. The structure of individual competitions does change from time to time. As such, the following information may change each season.

Yarra Valley Hockey Club will determine which competitions are appropriate to enter teams in, depending on player numbers, ability and support.

Mouthguards

Yarra Valley Hockey Club has a mandatory Mouthguard Policy. All registered Junior players must wear a mouthguard during "on field" activities, including training and games.

At the beginning of each winter season, the club will provide the services of a Dental Prosthetist, who can take mouthguard impressions. The cost of the mouthguards is $130 and payment can be made in cash, cheque or direct debit, but must be made on the day. All mouthguards will be delivered to the club approximately one week later. A substantial donation from the proceeds of mouthguard sales is donated to YVHC, so we appreciate your ongoing support.
